The FlexiSpot E5 is a step up from budget desks, with a 3-stage dual-motor frame that moves at 25 mm per second while staying below 50 dB. The height range is wide, from 60 to 125 cm, which suits both short and tall users, and the load capacity is 100 kg. A solid 25 mm one-piece maple desktop, four memory presets with an LED display and an anti-collision system complete the package. At around £221 it is expensive, and with only 33 reviews so far the long-term track record is thin, but the specification is excellent.
