The Keychron Q11 is a premium split mechanical keyboard built around a fully CNC machined aluminium frame. It takes the popular 75% layout and divides it down the middle, giving you the freedom to position each half independently and dial in a shoulder-width typing angle that suits your body rather than forcing you to adapt to the keyboard. It is a serious piece of kit aimed at people who type for a living and want to do so without accumulating strain over time.
Out of the box it ships with Keychron Super Red linear switches, south-facing per-key RGB backlighting, and double-shot PBT keycaps in OSA profile. The hot-swap PCB accepts both 3-pin and 5-pin switches, so swapping to your preferred feel takes minutes rather than a soldering iron. Full QMK and VIA support means every key is remappable in firmware, and the two rotary knobs add volume or media controls without eating into key real estate.
The UK ISO layout version is built specifically for British users, with the correct enter key shape, pound sign placement, and all the punctuation exactly where you expect it. The thick aluminium body gives the board a satisfying heft and dampens typing noise noticeably compared to plastic alternatives. It connects via USB-C to USB-A with an interconnect cable between the two halves included.
